The International Festival of Arts & Ideas presents the exclusive U.S. Premiere of the raucous, rousing new musical “Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour” from the National Theatre of Scotland June 10 – 25, at Yale Repertory Theatre, 1120 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT.
Love, lust, pregnancy, and death all spiral out of control on a crazy choir trip. “Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour,” the number one stage show in the UK from the National Theatre of Scotland, is adapted from Alan Warner’s brilliant novel The Sopranos about six Catholic school girls on the cusp of change. It’s a musical about losing your innocence and finding yourself from the writer of Billy Elliot and the musical director of Once with music by Handel, Bach, and 70s classic rock band Electric Light Orchestra.
