Shotts & Dykehead Win the 2015 World Pipe Band Championships

Pipe Bands

The sun shone on Glasgow and Shotts & Dykehead Caledonia after they won the 2015 World Pipe Championship held at Glasgow Green. Led by Pipe Major Ryan Canning this was the bands’s 16th victory at the Worlds since their first Worlds win in 1948.

The competition was live streamed to thousands of fans around the world and the final provided the perfect opportunity to watch and listen to the very best pipe bands in the World.

Shotts’ win marks the first time in 10 years that a Scottish band has won the World Pipe Band Championships.
