Pipe bands across North America prepare to compete at the Glengarry Highland Games and the North American Pipe Band Championship on Saturday, August 1, at Manville, Ontario.   The event which precedes the World Pipe Championship in Glasgow which takes place later in the month, will host grade 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 competitions.

In 2013 the event attracted over 1,400 competition pipers and drummers – who can be viewed by this excellent promotion video by David Fliss.
