Stunning Timelapse of Scotland

Film

This spectacular timelapse video captures many of Scotland’s icons and was produced by Glasgow film maker, James Strange. ‘Albalapse’ is a labour of love and features footage collected over a year to create this short video – including an opening sequence from the Forth Bridge.

The timelapse technique involves taking a series of still images at regular intervals over a period of time and then putting them together as frames within a film. The effect of photographing a subject that changes imperceptibly slowly, creates a smooth impression of motion.
