Made in rural Perthshire and now featured at New York Fashion Week, 28 year Aberdonian and fashion entrepreneur, Dave Lochhead, is getting ready to parade his bespoke wooden sunglasses which have taken the fashion world by storm.
The remarkable journey from Perthshire to catwalk, has taken less the three years, since David developed Finlay & Co, alongside colleagues Dane Butler and Tom Stannard.
The next step is New York and the company are delighted to have been invited to show their Spring/Summer 2015 collection.
Talking about the New York Fashion Week, David Lochhead, said: “Our full range of handcrafted wooden sunglasses will be on display to press and buyers at the prestigious Jeff Koons gallery in Manhattan.”
“It’s going to be part of the White Space exhibition and is really exciting. While the exhibition is invitation only, we have already had confirmations from some of the best buyers we could hope to see.”
Dave’s glasses have already been seen on Formula 1 star Jenson Button, model David Gandy, singers Katherine Jenkins, Rita Ora and Pixie Lott and the ubiquitous Pippa Middleton.
“The opportunity to show the brand at NYFW is incredible,” Dave added.
